  • In PO, you can create and plan so-called Sales posts. Sales posts are regular Facebook posts with just a little information about the product you want to sell; the product name, price, stock, etc. With this information, PO can automatically respond to your customers when they order, update your post when the product is sold out, and more. You can use the default responses in PO, modify them, or even create your own if you please.

  • PO requires no integrations or technical skills to set up or use and you can be up and running in 10 minutes. You don’t need a webshop or a digital directory of your products - all you need is a Facebook page. To use PO, simply create an account and connect your Facebook page. Then start creating sales posts like you would create any other Facebook post - with a little added information for the automatic responses. You can create your sales post from scratch or use one of the templates - and you can even reuse previously succesful sales posts.

  • You should always make it clear in your copy - especially in the beginning - that your customers must comment “Yes please” to order - or for instance “Yes please 4” to order multiple products. To help with this, we created a feature in PO that pastes a “Footer” of text to your copy when you publish the post to Facebook. You can use the default, create your own or delete it if you please. With the automatic Footer your customers can always find clear ordering instructions in all your posts.

  • Unless you decide to instruct your customers otherwise, they will simply go to your store, show the confirmation message, and pay for the product. Thus, a Sales post will not only generate sales but also footfall - and no payment or shipping integrations are needed.

  • No. PO will automatically respond to customers when they order even if the product is sold out or no longer available. However, customers might ask questions that PO does not understand - therefore you should routinely check your post for comments.

  • No. Sales posts are regular Facebook posts. You can choose to boost your post to increase the exposure. However, this is often not needed due to the natural popularity of sales posts.

  • No. PO does not charge a % of the revenue you generate from your sales posts, nor does PO charge per order. PO simply charges a flat, monthly subscription license.

  • The technology used for sales posts is a standard feature in the Meta API. As a Meta third party developer, PO Social’s software and use of the Meta API is routinely reviewed and approved by Meta. PO simply obtains permission to respond to a Facebook user once the user has commented on your post on Facebook. Sales posts would generally be considered high-quality content due to the high level of comments. On average, sales posts generate a 260% increase in engagement compared to regular Facebook posts. Meta’s guidelines are generally in place to prevent misinformation or manipulation of users. In the case of sales posts, you are simply providing an easy and fun way to purchase a real product.
