Connect to Your Instagram

Before you can start posting content on Instagram with Post Office, you need to connect to your Instagram profile. The Instagram profile you want to connect must be a business account and linked to the store's Facebook page. If it is already linked, you can simply follow the steps under 'Connect'. Otherwise, scroll down and follow the guide 'Link Instagram profile to your Facebook account'.
Connect
- 1Go to Post Office and click on account.
- 2Click on connect next to Instagram. Click 'Log in to Facebook', as you connect to Instagram via your Facebook account.
- 3If you are already logged in with Facebook on your device, simply click continue. Otherwise, there will be a login option where you enter your email/phone and password for your personal Facebook profile.
- 4Tick the box next to the Instagram profile you want to connect and click next. If you don't see any profile, it may not be correctly linked to the store's Facebook page - scroll down and follow the guide on how to make this link.
- 5Tick the box next to the Facebook account your Instagram profile is linked to and click next.
- 6If all permissions are set to YES, just click done. It is important not to disable any permissions, as Post Office needs all necessary permissions to function.
- 7Click connect. You have now linked your Instagram profile to Post Office and can start posting content.
Link Instagram Profile to Your Facebook Account
- 1Go to the home page of your store's Facebook account and click 'manage'.
- 2Under 'your tools' click on 'linked accounts'.
- 3First click 'link account' and then 'link'.
- 4Choose whether you want Instagram messages in your Messenger inbox and confirm your choice.
- 5Choose which cookies you want to allow.
- 6Log in to the Instagram profile you want to link.
- 7Now your Instagram profile should be linked, and you can proceed to connect it with Post Office by following the first steps in the article.
